What is your Deal Matrix?

The Deal Matrix is a new way for salespeople to manage their pipeline. You don’t have to settle down for a good ol’ list of deals in your CRM.

Based on Deal signals, you can analyze your pipeline across 2 axes, just like an Eisenhower matrix.

How to use your Deal Matrix?

Navigate to your Deal Matrix

  1. From the Atlas home page, click on the Prioritize panel

  2. You’ll find your Deal Matrix on the right side

Update your Deal Matrix

  1. At the top left of the matrix, choose from the one of the three matrix views to analyze deals across different dimension:

    • Pace vs. Temperature Matrix - identifies deals with high momentum and high interest, distinguishing them from those that may be moving quickly but lack engagement

    • Temperature vs. Responsibility - helps to understand where active engagement (from you or customer) can warm up a deal or move it forward, versus deals that are contingent on client responses or actions.

    • Pace vs. Responsibility - helps to highlighting deals propelled by the rep's efforts versus those moving forward due to client initiative.

  2. At the top right of the matrix, you’ll find you can change the deal annotation. Choose one of the three icons (one of the 3 Deals signals) to display the signal directly

When does Deal Matrix help?

Your watchlist **is a way to keep an eye our your most important deals.

  • Sellers in Pod review deals in the Matrix every morning to make sure anything important is happening on their deals.

  • You can also carve out time at the end of the week (a great way to wrap up the week!) to update your Matrix.

Review your Deal Matrix ahead of a pipeline review to be ready to tackle any questions your manager could have for you.
